Higher boiler capacity by fuel pre-drying
Södra Cell, one of the largest producers in paper manufacture based in Sweden, acquired the STELA low-temperature belt drier 1/6200-49.5.
The belt drier is 55 m long and has a capacity of approx. 17 MW. Through this investment, Södra is achieving a higher boiler capacity. This increase is induced by using pre-dried fuel, e. g. bark, resulting in a higher boiler capacity than using wet fuel.
